  1. -September 2016: Dr. Langar has been promoted to Full Professor at University of Eastern Paris Marne-la-Vallée (UPEM), and will co-lead the LRT research team of LIGM. His new website is  at http://perso.u-pem.fr/~langar

  2. -August 2016: New papers accepted in IWCMC 2016, ISC2 2016, GLOBECOM 2016, and GIIS 2016.

  3. -June 2016: Dr. Langar is invited as researcher in Lebanese University, Beirut - Lebanon.

  4. -April 2016: New paper in press in IEEE Access Journal on Coalitional Games for joint Co-tier and Cross-tier Cooperative Spectrum Sharing in Dense Heterogeneous Networks.

  5. -March 2016: Dr. Langar is invited to give a talk on “Cloud-RANs networks: challenges and solutions” at the New Generations of Networks (NGN’16) workshop, to be held in Beirut,  Lebanon in June 2016.

  6. -January 2016: Dr. Langar is elected as Vice-Chair of the IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee on Information Infrastructure and Networking (TCIIN) for the term Jan. 2016 - Dec. 2017

  8. -December 2015: Z. Khalfallah successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis titled “Underwater Wireless Sensor Network Deployment”.

  11. -August 2015: Dr. Langar is invited as researcher in DCC department, Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil.

  12. -July 2015: Two new FUI-20 projects on Cloud Radio Access Networks (ELASTIC Networks, duration: 30 months) and on Mobile Cloud Offloading (PODIUM, duration:  36 months).

  13. -May 2015: New paper in press in IEEE TNSM on Green SLAs in Distributed Clouds.

  14. -May 2015: Co-Guest Editor of the Special Issue of Elsevier Vehicular Communications Journal on “Vehicular Cloud Networking” - CFP - consider submitting.

  15. -March 2015: New paper accepted in IFIP Networking 2015 on Underwater Sensor Networks.

  16. -Dr. Langar is symposium co-chair of “Next Generation Networks” in IEEE ICC’16, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, May 23 - 27, 2016.

  17. -January 2015: New paper accepted in IEEE ICC 2015 on mobility management in Femtocell networks.

  18. -December 2014: A. Amokrane successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis titled “Green and Energy Efficiency in Access Networks and Cloud Infrastructure”.

  19. -November 2014: Our paper “On Satisfying Green SLAs in Distributed Clouds” receives the Best Paper Award at CNSM 2014.

  20. -November 2014: Our paper “Interference-aware Game-based Channel Assignment Algorithm for MR-MC WMNs” receives the Top 3 Paper Award in Wireless Days (WD) 2014.

  21. -September 2014: New papers accepted in IEEE CNSM 2014, WD 2014, and NOF 2014 on green SLA in distributed clouds, channel allocation in WMNs, and underwater sensor networks.

  22. -May 2014: New paper in press in IEEE TMC on resource and power allocation in femtocell networks.

  23. -April 2014: A. Amokrane receives the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center internship for 6 months starting from June 2014.

  24. -April 2014: Dr. Langar is invited as researcher in the School of Information and Communication Engineering at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) and Tsinghua University (THU), China.

  25. -February 2014: New French-Brazilian project on Mobile Cloud Computing (duration: 3 years).

  26. -January 2014: New paper in press in ELSEVIER ComNet journal on energy-aware routing and link scheduling in WMNs.

  27. -Dr. Langar is TPC co-chair of the Wired/Wireless Communications, Networks and Information Infrastructure Track of GIIS 2014 in Montreal, Canada, Sept. 15 - 19, 2014.

  28. -December 2013: Dr. Langar obtained his Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) in wireless networking from UPMC.

  29. -December 2013: Dr. Langar is elected as Secretary of the IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee of Information Infrastructure and Networking (TCIIN).

  30. -November 2013: Dr. Langar is invited as researcher in the School of Computer Science, University of Waterloo, Canada.

  31. -October 2013: New paper in press in IEEE TVT on resource allocation with QoS guarantees in femtocell networks.

  32. -September 2013: New paper accepted in IEEE TCC about green cloud computing.

  33. -July 2013: New ANR INFRA13 project on Adaptive Behavior and Cloud Distribution (duration: 42 months).

  34. -June 2013: Dr. Langar is invited as researcher in the Division of IT Convergence Engineering, POSTECH, South Korea.

  35. -June 2013: Dr. Langar to give a tutorial at MED-HOC-NET, Corsica, 26 June 2013.

  36. -March 2013: A. Hatoum successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis titled “Resource Management in Femtocell Networks”.

  37. -Dr. Langar is TPC co-chair of the Network of the Future, NoF’12, Tunis, Tunisia.

  38. -Dr. Langar is co-chair of “Ad-Hoc and Sensor Networking” Symposium in IEEE ICC’12, Ottawa, Canada, June 10 - 15, 2012.

  39. -November 2012: New paper accepted in IEEE TMC on game theoretical approach for resource allocation in WMNs.

  40. -June 2012: A. Hatoum is invited as student researcher in POSTECH, South Korea, for 3 months.

  41. -January 2012: New French-Canadian project FERRARI on Femtocell Enabled Roaming and Resource Allocation for a more Resilient Interconnection (duration: 3 years).

  42. -January 2012: New CNRS and PHC-Utique project on mobility management in femtocell networks (duration: 3 years).

  43. -September 2011: Dr. Langar received the UPMC research award for 4 years.

  44. -September 2008: Dr. Langar joined UPMC as Associate Professor, and will work with Pr. Guy Pujolle in the PHARE research team of LIP6.
