SMART AND GREEN STADIUMS
KIC ICT-Labs Activity Project

The objective of this project is to develop, implement, and test a new generation of living labs including high-capacity access network with integrated services and low energy consumption for large stadiums and arenas. The platform will allow handling of enormous flows of information coming from a large number of people on a specific area, over periods of several hours. This platform will support a large range of new features and wireless services associated with stadium and arena environments, with a strong security. Currently the stadiums are supporting only few connections at a low throughput.
